Privacy Policy The demand for top quality pediatric dental care has never been higher. We at Hi5 Dental recognize that you have plenty of options to choose from in the area, which is why we strive so hard to provide our patients with the best care possible. Everything we do we strive to be the best at, from offering a warm and inviting environment to our gentle chairside manner we are certain you and your child will have a great first visit. First Visit - What to ExpectAfter filling out the new patient registration and medical and dental history forms you will be ready for your first visit to our office. We will start off your child's appointment with a welcoming introduction and a walkthrough of all procedures to calm their nerves. The first visit will always include a cleaning and exam. The cleaning will be followed by a thorough examination. During the examination we will take note of any problem areas in your child's mouth that may need additional attention, and we will make you and your child aware of such issues. During the examination we will also take an X-ray of your child's mouth. This will help set a baseline for us to compare against in the future. It will also help us spot any issues that may be hidden or hard to see with the naked eye. We use the X-ray to look for tumors, cysts an even bone fractures, although these issues are less prevalent in children, it is still a concern and worth looking into.Friendly ReminderWe want your first visit to our office to be enjoyable and easy on both you and your child. A great way to introduce a nervous child to our office is to call us to setup a pre-appointment "Happy Visit" During the Happy Visit we will get a chance to meet your child and will take them around the office for a tour. On the tour we will introduce your child to all the different tools and dental technology we use. They will get to meet Dr. Pham and many of our friendly staff.The day of the appointment we ask that you show up at least fifteen to twenty minutes ahead of time so that you can fill out the proper forms. If your child takes medication, we would ask that you have a list of any prescriptions they take. On the drive to our office it's not a bad idea to tell positive stories of your past dental visits, or even sing a song just to lighten the mood. We realize that there can be some stress over a dental visit so it's a good idea to keep the mood light and fun on your way to our office. We are always so happy to see new patients walk through our door. We know you have a lot of choices in the area when it comes to your child's oral care and that's why we work so hard to make both you and your child happy and healthy. | If you have dental insurance we will help you determine the coverage you have available. In order to best assist you, it is important that you submit your dental and/or medical insurance information to us with your New Patient Paperwork a minimum of two business days prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows us time to contact your insurance company and obtain a breakdown of the benefits you or your employer has purchased from the company. Should you be diagnosed with treatment services, we will be able to provide you with a detailed plan which will give you an estimate of how much your insurance company may pay for each procedure, as well as the portion you will be expected to pay at the time of service. Professional care is provided to you, our patient family, and not to an insurance company. The insurance company is responsible only to the patient as a benefit from the individual or employer plan purchase, and the patient is responsible to the doctor. We will assist you in every way we can in the filing of your dental or medical claim and handling of insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
